This introductory workshop will allow for the exploration of the evidence and utility of incorporating education around lifestyle behavioral changes and complementary modalities to the treatment of SUDs. These interventions have the capability of helping patients in recovery to restore joy and prevent chronic illness that disproportionately affect them. Implementation of clinical practices and research that include lifestyle change education, complementary therapies, and group medical visits should be included across the continuum of SUD care.
