Currently, addiction medicine has begun to investigate neuromodulation interventions for addiction and the field is expanding. While interventional psychiatrists are trained to provide neuromodulatory interventions, addiction medicine practitioners have limited exposure. Ideally, addiction medicine practitioners and interventional psychiatrists would find a common educational interface.
